Experience fragment overview

The Experience Fragment component allows authors to create and reuse a group of components as a single fragment across multiple pages and channels. It is ideal for maintaining consistency in design and messaging while reducing duplication.

Usage

Use Experience Fragments to deliver consistent experiences across multiple pages and channels. They are particularly useful for global headers, footers, promotional banners, and reusable content blocks.

Common usage includes:

  • Global navigation headers
  • Footers
  • Promotional banners
  • Reusable content sections for campaigns

Dos and don'ts

Do:

  • Use for content that appears in multiple places
  • Keep fragments modular for easy updates
  • Apply proper naming conventions for clarity

Don’t:

  • Overcomplicate fragments with unnecessary components
  • Use for content that is unique to a single page
  • Ignore accessibility requirements for embedded components

Styles

Styles are used to visually amplify the Boston Scientific brand. Styles carry different brand or functional treatments that bring a distinctive look to our webpages while also helping to emphasize key information.

Using the brand treatment

The brand treatment should be used to visually emphasize content and provide a more tailored and distinctive look and feel to a webpage. Be mindful not to overuse and avoid treatment competing with other imagery. Ensure a balanced visual hierarchy.

This treatment is applied by selecting a treatment type and treatment color.
